Honor Magic V5
Honor’s next foldable smartphone Honor Magic V5 is going to be launched in China next month. The company has confirmed this through its Weibo handle. This phone will be an upgraded version of the Magic V3 launched last year and is expected to have many latest technologies and powerful features. Currently, it will be launched in China only, but in future it can also be brought globally.
The Honor Magic V5 will be launched in China on July 2, 2025 at 7 pm (4:30 pm IST). The company has also started pre-booking for this foldable smartphone on its official online store in China.
The company has shared a glimpse of its slim design on Weibo. Also, Honor CEO James Li also gave a small glimpse of Magic V5 at the MWC Shanghai 2025 event. In the teaser, the phone’s camera island was seen slightly raised, along with the volume button and power button were also seen on the edge. It is being told that this smartphone will be the world’s thinnest and lightest foldable phone. This phone will come with AI-based features and PC-level productivity.
The Honor Magic V5 is seen as a direct competitor to the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7, which will be offered with a thickness of 3.9mm (unfolded) and 8.9mm (folded). The exact dimensions of the Magic V5 are not yet revealed, but last year’s model Magic V3 had a thickness of 9.3mm (folded).
