The Motorola Edge 60 Neo is set to launch soon in the European market, with an expected release in India by late September or early October 2025. Following the success of the Edge 50 Neo, this mid-range smartphone promises notable improvements in display, camera, and performance.
Expected Launch Timeline
Tipster Debayan Roy revealed that Motorola will unveil the Edge 60 Neo in Europe in the next few days, with the Indian launch expected shortly thereafter. This follows the earlier release of the Motorola Edge 60 series, including Edge 60 Pro, Edge 60 Fusion, and Edge 60 Stylus models.
Display and Design
The Edge 60 Neo is tipped to feature a compact OLED display, likely sized between 6.4 to 6.7 inches, offering vivid colors and sharp visuals. The predecessor Edge 50 Neo had a 6.4-inch 10-bit flat LTPO pOLED screen with HDR10+ and peak brightness of 3,000 nits. This new model is expected to build upon this with high-quality display technology and durability.
Camera Setup
The smartphone will include a triple rear camera system comprising a primary lens, an ultrawide-angle lens, and a telephoto sensor. The Edge 50 Neo featured a 50MP primary camera, a 13MP ultrawide lens, and a 10MP telephoto sensor, so the Edge 60 Neo may offer similar or improved camera performance.
Performance and Battery
Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC, the Edge 50 Neo came with 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB storage. It featured a 4,310mAh battery with 68W wired and 15W wireless fast charging. The Edge 60 Neo is expected to have enhancements in battery life and charging but details are yet to be confirmed.
Motorola’s Edge 60 Neo aims to deliver a strong mid-range contender with quality display, versatile cameras, and reliable performance, making it a promising launch for 2025’s smartphone market.
