Motorola Razr 50 features a large inner display and a compact outer screen, offering a premium foldable experience.
Motorola has announced a substantial discount on its foldable smartphone, the Motorola Razr 50, bringing its price down by ₹10,000 for a limited period. Originally priced at ₹54,999, the Razr 50 is now available at just ₹44,999. This offer is valid from July 23 to July 31 and is applicable across Motorola’s official website as well as offline retail stores.
But with the newer Motorola Razr 60 available at ₹49,999 — just ₹5,000 more — the question arises: which one should you go for?
This offer makes the Razr 50 one of the most affordable foldable phones in the market today. However, the timing of this discount puts it head-to-head with Motorola’s newer Razr 60, launched in May, which is priced at ₹49,999.
While the Razr 50 is now ₹5,000 cheaper than the Razr 60, that small price difference may not justify going for the older model. Here’s why:
Unless you’re strictly bound by a ₹45,000 budget, opting for the Razr 60 offers better long-term value for just ₹5,000 more.
The Motorola Razr 50 at ₹44,999 certainly makes foldable technology more accessible. However, given the minimal price gap and significant performance and battery improvements in the Razr 60, the newer model is clearly the better buy.
If you’re ready to invest in a foldable phone for long-term use, the extra ₹5,000 for the Razr 60 is money well spent.
