The company named it the “Nubia Fold,” which boasts an 8-inch large screen and the segment’s largest 6560mAh battery. Currently launched exclusively in Japan, the phone has created a stir in the tech world.

Nubia has officially unveiled its new foldable smartphone, the Nubia Fold, in the Japanese market. It is a premium device that uses flagship-level components.
Key Specifications of the Nubia Fold
- Display: The phone features two screens. The main inner foldable display is an 8-inch OLED panel with a resolution of 2480×2200 pixels and supports a 120Hz refresh rate. The outer cover screen is 6.5-inch with a 120Hz refresh rate and 2748×1172 pixel resolution.
- Processor and Performance: The Nubia Fold is powered by Qualcomm’s powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB UFS 4.0 storage.
- Camera: For photography, it has a triple rear camera system consisting of a 50MP main sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 5MP macro camera. For selfies and video calls, there are 20MP front cameras on both the inner and outer displays.
- Battery and Charging: It comes with a large 6,560mAh battery, claimed to be the largest in the foldable segment. It also supports 55W fast charging.
- Other Features: The phone comes with an IP54 rating, protecting it from water and dust. It runs on the latest Android 15 operating system.

The Nubia Fold has currently been launched for the Japanese market.
