OnePlus is gearing up to launch its next flagship, the OnePlus 15, likely debuting in China in October 2025. The smartphone recently appeared on the IECEE certification website with the model number CPH2747, revealing support for a powerful 121W adapter, hinting at 120W fast charging capability.
Fast Charging and Battery Upgrades
The listed 121W adapter suggests a significant upgrade from the OnePlus 13, which had 100W wired and 50W wireless charging. Leaks also hint at a larger battery capacity of around 7000mAh, promising longer usage on a single charge compared to the 6000mAh battery of its predecessor.
New Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 Chipset and Performance
The OnePlus 15 was also spotted on the Geekbench benchmarking platform (model PLK110), featuring Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 SoC with an octa-core CPU clocking six efficiency cores at 3.63GHz and two performance cores at 4.61GHz. The device is expected to come with up to 16GB RAM and run OxygenOS based on Android 16, providing flagship-level speed and smooth multitasking.
Camera and Imaging Innovations
While the camera setup may remain similar to the OnePlus 13’s 50MP triple rear cameras, the OnePlus 15 is rumored to introduce a proprietary image engine, replacing the Hasselblad-tuned module for the first time. The rear camera module might also see a design change from circular to a redesigned square layout.
With upgraded charging, a powerful chipset, enhanced battery, and imaging technology, the OnePlus 15 aims to strengthen its position in the premium smartphone market when it launches next month.
