OnePlus has started rolling out the first OTA update for its recently launched OnePlus Nord CE5 in India. The device, which debuted alongside the Nord 5 last week, is now receiving the OxygenOS 15.0.2.31 update (build number CPH2717_15.0.2.311(EX01)). The update is currently available to a limited number of users and will expand to all devices in phases over the next few days.
This update brings a host of new features, camera optimisations, and system improvements that enhance both usability and performance.
One of the key highlights of the update is the ‘Save to Mind Space’ option. This feature allows users to save screen content directly to the Mind Space app — OnePlus’s content archiving and memory summarising tool. It’s designed to intelligently organise and recall saved moments and data.
The update brings significant improvements to the rear camera, with better colour accuracy, enhanced image stability, and more consistent performance across different lighting conditions.
The touch sampling rate has been increased to 3,000Hz, with a dedicated 300Hz Pro Gamer Mode for improved gaming responsiveness and ultra-smooth touch feedback. This makes the Nord CE5 one of the most touch-responsive devices in its price segment.
OnePlus has also added remote control support for computers. With this feature, users can access their PC or laptop files directly through the phone and even control it remotely — a major plus for professionals and power users.
The update is currently live only in India and is being rolled out in batches. OnePlus has confirmed that the broader rollout will happen in stages over the coming days. Users are encouraged to wait for the OTA notification or manually check in Settings > System > Software Update.
In a recent forum post, OnePlus confirmed that Indian users can now submit bug reports more easily via the OnePlus Community App under the “Bug Report” section in their profile. Alternatively, users can dial *#800# on the phone to access the feedback tool.

The first OTA update for the OnePlus Nord CE5 adds meaningful improvements to an already value-packed mid-range phone. Features like Mind Space integration, Pro Gamer Mode, and remote PC control push its functionality beyond the typical segment expectations. With more updates and camera details expected soon, the Nord CE5 could easily become one of the best choices under ₹30,000 in India.
