Oppo K13 Turbo sports a sleek design with a glowing RGB camera ring and dual-lens setup
Oppo India is gearing up to launch its innovative K13 Turbo series featuring built-in centrifugal cooling fans between August 11 and August 14, 2025. Originally launched in China in late July, the K13 Turbo and K13 Turbo Pro models are confirmed to come with advanced thermal management, high-performance chipsets, and large battery capacities, targeting the gaming and performance smartphone segment.
According to multiple sources including GSMArena and official teasers on Flipkart, the K13 Turbo series will soon debut in India, with a dedicated microsite already live on Flipkart hinting at the upcoming sale of these models.
Oppo has officially confirmed the launch and teased the series on social media, emphasizing the inclusion of India’s only smartphone series equipped with built-in active cooling fans.
The standout feature of the K13 Turbo phones is their unique thermal management system. Both models incorporate active and passive cooling, including a variable-speed centrifugal fan spinning at 18,000 rpm with ultra-thin 0.1mm blades.
This fan is designed to efficiently move air while minimizing power consumption and noise. Additionally, the phones have a large 7,000 sq mm vapor chamber and a 19,000 sq mm graphite layer to dissipate heat passively.
The fan modules are water-resistant, meeting IPX6, IPX8, and IPX9 standards, ensuring durability during intense usage.
The Oppo K13 Turbo comes powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8450 chipset, while the K13 Turbo Pro houses the more powerful Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 SoC. Both phones feature:
Though the official India pricing has not yet been announced, it is expected to be close to the Chinese launch prices where the Oppo K13 Turbo started at approximately ₹21,600 and the Pro model at around ₹24,000. The phones are likely to appeal to gamers and performance enthusiasts looking for powerful hardware coupled with innovative cooling solutions at a competitive price point.
The K13 Turbo series will be available for purchase exclusively via Flipkart and Oppo’s India online store, continuing Oppo’s growing presence in the e-commerce space.
The Oppo K13 Turbo series promises to redefine mobile gaming and heavy usage experiences in the mid-range smartphone segment in India, primarily thanks to its pioneering built-in cooling fan technology and robust hardware specifications. With the launch confirmed in mid-August, Indian consumers can look forward to a fresh, performance-centric smartphone option shortly.
