Oppo K13 Turbo Pro showcases its built-in active cooling fan and IPX-rated waterproof design ahead of July 21 launch.
Ahead of the July 21 launch, Oppo has released an eye-catching teaser video showing off its K13 Turbo and K13 Turbo Pro’s standout feature — a built-in active cooling fan. The video even shows the fan strong enough to blow out candles, highlighting how powerful it really is.
According to Oppo, this new fan design increases cooling efficiency by 300%, reduces the space it takes up by 70%, and delivers 120% more power compared to traditional smartphone fans. The aim? To deliver lag-free high frame rate gaming without thermal throttling.
Oppo K Series product manager Wei Wei claims that when the fan is engaged:
Both games maintain incredible stability, thanks to the integrated Gale Cooling Engine and Tidal Engine, which work in tandem with the fan to keep temperatures under control.
One of the most remarkable achievements of the K13 Turbo series is that despite the inclusion of a moving mechanical fan, the phones still achieve IPX6, IPX8, and IPX9 water resistance ratings. This makes them the first waterproof fan-cooled smartphones, according to Oppo.
To further enhance thermal performance, Oppo will also offer a Super Cooling Set:
This set is designed to attach magnetically to the K13 Turbo or Turbo Pro, pushing the phone’s cooling potential even further.
The K13 Turbo series includes models running on:
These chipsets are built for powerful multitasking, smooth gameplay, and efficient battery use — and now, with cutting-edge thermal solutions, they’ll perform even better.
With this launch, Oppo is redefining the gaming smartphone space. By combining next-gen active cooling, full waterproofing, and flagship-level chipsets, the K13 Turbo and K13 Turbo Pro look set to raise the bar for mobile gaming in 2025. Whether you’re a casual player or an esports enthusiast, this might just be the coolest phone — quite literally — of the year.
