Realme is set to kick off 2025 with a major bang in the Indian smartphone market. The company has officially confirmed the launch of its highly anticipated number series: the Realme 16 Pro and Realme 16 Pro+. Catering to the premium mid-range segment, this new series promises a complete overhaul in design, massive battery backups, and flagship-grade camera sensors.
The Realme 16 Pro series is scheduled to debut in India on January 6th. The launch event will begin at 12 PM IST. Following the launch, both devices will be available for purchase via Flipkart and Realme’s official online store.
This year, Realme is moving away from the traditional square camera modules seen in previous generations. In collaboration with renowned Japanese designer Naoto Fukasawa, the brand has introduced the “Urban Wild” design. The new look features a sculpted camera layout that seamlessly blends into the rear panel for a more premium hand-feel.
Positioned as the flagship of the series, the Pro+ model is packed with high-end specifications:
The standard Realme 16 Pro is designed for users who want a top-tier camera experience without the “Pro+” price tag.
Both phones will ship with Realme UI 7.0 (Android 16) out of the box, with a promise of 3 major OS upgrades and 4 years of security patches.
While official prices will be revealed on January 6th, industry tipsters suggest the following price brackets:
Realme 16 Pro 5G Expected Price:
| Model | Variant (RAM + Storage) | Expected Price (INR) |
| Realme 16 Pro 5G | 8GB + 128GB | ₹31,999 |
