Realme has officially confirmed the launch date for its next-generation performance flagship, the Realme Neo 8. Set to debut in China on January 22, 2026, this device is being positioned as a “gaming-focused flagship” that prioritizes display quality, extreme battery life, and a futuristic aesthetic. The screen supports a native 165Hz refresh rate, specifically optimized for popular titles like Free Fire and Peacekeeper Elite. It boasts a staggering 6,500 nits of local peak brightness and 3,800 nits of sunlight brightness, ensuring perfect visibility under any lighting. Additionally, the panel includes a dedicated Magic Touch chip for an 8ms improvement in touch response and features advanced “Green Field Eye Protection” with near-zero flicker.

Under the hood, the Realme Neo 8 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset. Built on a 3nm process, this SoC has already demonstrated immense power, with Realme claiming an AnTuTu benchmark score of 3.58 million points.

A signature feature making its return is the Awakening Halo RGB lighting, located next to the camera module.
