Xiaomi is set to kick off 2026 with a major addition to its popular Note series. The Redmi Note 15 5G is officially scheduled to launch in India next week, bringing significant upgrades in design, camera technology, and display quality compared to its predecessor.
The Redmi Note 15 5G focuses heavily on aesthetics and ergonomics. Xiaomi has confirmed that the device will feature a slim 7.35mm body, making it notably thinner than the Redmi Note 14.
The highlight of the front is a 6.77-inch Curved AMOLED display that supports a 120Hz refresh rate and a massive 3,200 nits of peak brightness. It also introduces Hydro Touch 2.0, a technology designed to ensure the screen remains responsive even when used with wet fingers.
For photography enthusiasts, the Redmi Note 15 5G brings a substantial hardware jump. Dubbed the “108 MasterPixel Edition,” it features a 108MP primary sensor equipped with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS).
Key camera features include:
Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor. Built on a 4nm architecture, this chipset is designed to offer a balance between power efficiency and smooth multitasking.
To keep the device running, Xiaomi has packed a 5,520mAh battery with 45W fast charging support. According to official teasers, the battery is optimized to last up to 1.6 days on a single charge. Additionally, the phone comes with an IP66 rating, providing robust protection against dust and water splashes.
While the official pricing will be announced at the launch, leaks suggest a price hike due to rising component costs across the industry.
| Configuration | Expected Price (INR) |
| 8GB RAM + 128GB Storage | ₹22,999 |
| 8GB RAM + 256GB Storage | ₹24,999 |
The launch event will be livestreamed on Xiaomi’s official YouTube channel on January 6th at 11 AM IST. Following the launch, the Redmi Note 15 5G will be available via Amazon, Xiaomi’s official website, and major offline retail outlets.
