Redmi Turbo 5 Design Leaked: To Feature Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 Chip, 8000mAh Battery, and 100W Fast Charging

Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi is reportedly working on its next Turbo series smartphone — the Redmi Turbo 5, which will succeed the Redmi Turbo 4. While the company hasn’t made an official announcement yet, multiple leaks have revealed its design, specifications, and possible launch timeline. The latest leak gives us the first glimpse of the handset’s design, confirming some key details.

First Look at Redmi Turbo 5 Design

Tipster Abhishek Yadav (@yabhishekhd) shared a leaked image from Weibo showing the Redmi Turbo 5 in a white color finish, resembling the Luck Cloud White variant of the Redmi Turbo 4.

The image reveals a centered punch-hole display with slim, symmetrical bezels. On the rear, the phone appears to feature a vertically aligned dual-camera setup. Interestingly, the second camera lens is surrounded by a green ring, which differentiates it from the previous model. An LED flash can also be seen next to the camera module.

Expected Features and Specifications

According to leaks, the Redmi Turbo 5 will be powered by Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset. However, earlier reports had suggested that it might use the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 SoC and launch globally under the Poco X8 Pro branding.

Some sources also claim that the phone might debut in India and international markets as the Poco F8.

Battery, Display, and Build Details

The smartphone was recently spotted on China’s 3C certification website with model number 2511FRT34C. The listing indicates that the device will come with a massive 8000mAh battery supporting 100W wired fast charging.

It is rumored to feature a 6.5-inch LTPS flat display with 1.5K resolution, offering a crisp and smooth viewing experience. The phone may include a metal frame, in-display fingerprint sensor, and an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance, ensuring a durable and premium build.

Launch Timeline

While Redmi has not officially confirmed the device, reports suggest that the Redmi Turbo 5 could be unveiled later this month in China. After its domestic launch, it is expected to debut in India and global markets under the Poco branding.
