The buzz around Samsung’s next flagship lineup has officially begun. Recently, leaked hands-on images of the Samsung Galaxy S26 and Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra surfaced online, giving tech enthusiasts an early glimpse of what to expect. While the new series retains the premium DNA of the current Galaxy S25 lineup, a few subtle yet significant design shifts—particularly in the camera department—are making headlines.
According to the images shared by noted tipster Steve H. McFly (@OnLeaks), Samsung is sticking with its elegant “slab-style” design. The devices feature flat rear panels complemented by slightly curved edges for a more ergonomic grip.
The most striking change is found on the back of the Galaxy S26 Ultra. Samsung seems to be moving away from the individual floating lens design seen on the S25 Ultra.
The base Galaxy S26 continues the trend of refined simplicity. It features a vertically aligned triple rear camera unit. All three lenses appear uniform in size, with a single LED flash positioned neatly to the right. The design looks clean, polished, and unmistakably Samsung.
While official confirmation from Samsung is still pending, industry leaks have provided a roadmap for what lies under the hood:
| Feature | Expected Details |
| Launch Date | February 2026 (Estimated) |
| Processor | Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 / Exynos 2600 (Market dependent) |
| S26 Camera | Triple Rear Setup |
| S26 Ultra Camera | Quad Rear Setup with New Island Design |
| Price Trend | Expected to be higher than previous generations |
The Galaxy S26 series appears to be an evolution rather than a total reinvention. However, with the integration of more powerful chipsets and a refreshed camera aesthetic, Samsung aims to maintain its dominance in the premium smartphone market. Potential buyers should, however, prepare for a possible price hike due to rising component costs.
