Vivo V60 spotted in three stunning colors – Mist Grey, Moonlit Blue, and Auspicious Gold
Vivo is reportedly preparing to launch its next mid-range smartphone, the Vivo V60 5G, in India. According to tipster Abhishek Yadav, the device could be unveiled on August 19, 2025, and it may introduce a major software change along with strong camera capabilities.
The biggest shift could be in the operating system. For the first time in India, Vivo is expected to launch a phone with Origin OS, which is based on Android 16. So far, Vivo has offered Funtouch OS in global and Indian markets, while Origin OS has remained exclusive to China.
The switch could offer users a refreshed UI experience, smoother animations, and better overall performance.
The Vivo V60 5G is rumored to be closely based on the Vivo S30, which was launched earlier in China. If that holds true, the specifications may include:
These features indicate that the device will focus on both performance and photography, continuing the trend of Vivo’s camera-centric smartphones.
As per industry trends, the Vivo V60 5G may be priced in the ₹35,000 to ₹40,000 range. This keeps it in line with previous V-series models while placing it competitively below the premium X-series lineup.
While Vivo has not officially confirmed the launch date or specifications, the leaks offer a solid preview of what’s to come.
