Vivo is reportedly gearing up for a major hardware event in China this March. While the spotlight is expected to be on the high-end Vivo X300 Ultra, fresh leaks suggest the debut of a new variant: the Vivo X300s. Positioned as an iterative yet powerful upgrade over the standard X300 launched in late 2025, this model aims to bridge the gap between efficiency and high-end performance.
According to noted tipster Digital Chat Station (DCS), the Vivo X300s will be among the first to feature MediaTek’s upcoming Dimensity 9500+ chipset. This processor is expected to be a refined, overclocked version of the standard Dimensity 9500, offering enhanced clock speeds for better gaming and multitasking capabilities.
Breaking away from the traditional curved edges seen in many flagships, the Vivo X300s is tipped to sport a 6.78-inch 1.5K OLED flat display.
Imaging remains a core strength for Vivo. The X300s is rumored to carry a 200-megapixel primary sensor, ensuring high-detail photography even in challenging conditions. To complement the main sensor, the device is expected to include a mid-range periscope telephoto lens, making it a versatile tool for zoom photography.
Perhaps the most significant upgrade is under the hood. The Vivo X300s is expected to house a massive 7,000mAh battery. This is a substantial leap from the 6,040mAh cell found in the standard Vivo X300, potentially setting a new endurance benchmark for flagship smartphones.

While the Vivo X300s is slated for a March launch in China, its global trajectory remains a topic of speculation. Historically, Vivo often rebrands its “S” series models for international markets later in the year.
For the Indian market, rumors are swirling around a Vivo X300 FE variant. This model is tipped to be priced around Rs. 60,000 and could make its debut in 2026, offering a more accessible entry point into Vivo’s flagship ecosystem.
Apart from smartphones, Vivo’s March event might also surprise fans with the introduction of the company’s first action camera, signaling an expansion into the outdoor lifestyle tech segment.
