Smartphone manufacturer Realme is gearing up to introduce the Realme 16 Pro series as the successor to its current 15 series. While the company has not officially confirmed the launch date, multiple leaks and tipsters have revealed potential timelines and key specifications for the upcoming devices.
According to various industry insiders, the Realme 16 Pro series might launch in India as early as January 6, 2026. Other reports suggest a slightly later window in February 2026. Regardless of the exact date, the series is firmly expected to arrive during the first quarter (Q1) of 2026.
Realme 16 Pro Series: Expected Specifications (Leaks)
Based on leaked information, the Realme 16 Pro series is poised to offer significant upgrades over its predecessors.
- Display: The phones in the series are expected to feature a large 6.8-inch AMOLED display with a smooth 144Hz refresh rate and 1.5K resolution. The screen may be protected by Gorilla Glass 7i.
- Camera: The device is shaping up to be a treat for photography enthusiasts. The base model is rumored to sport a 200MP primary sensor coupled with an 8MP ultra-wide lens. The high-end Realme 16 Pro+ variant might also include a dedicated telephoto lens. A 50MP front camera is expected for selfies across both models.
